An acquired company can do best when its management has the resources available to grow and be innovative. We encourage management to grow and innovate by providing the autonomy to operate in a manner that allows prompt decisions and rapid responses to the marketplace. Companies can best grow, innovate and respond when their owners are dedicated to the viewpoint of owning the business for the long-term.
We feel that businesses prosper under long term commitments by the owners, as well as having adequate financing to grow in the future. We maintain the belief that management should participate in an incentive plan that properly awards post-acquisition growth and profitability. We have consistently focused on companies in the areas of Industrial Manufacturing, Distribution and Services. We have completed a number of transactions involving operating companies.
We have a history of responding promptly to an acquisition opportunity, and have demonstrated the ability to analyze the transaction and to proceed through to closing in an efficient manner. In all cases, the transactions were cash purchases completed in less than 90 days from letter of intent to closing of the sale. We are aware of the concerns of a seller for confidentiality, and our acquisitions have been completed with a minimum of disturbance to the company personnel and customers.
All of our business dealings tend to focus on the people side of the equation as we firmly believe that this is the most critical aspect. In all of our acquisitions we have worked with the sellers to achieve their desired goals, while providing a firm financial base for the future growth of the company. I went into our hometown appliance store to purchase a Dyson having heard and seen so much positive talk about them. Not carrying Dyson they talked me into a Miele vacuum which was OK but my mistake was getting a canister when I really wanted an upright vacuum.
We had the Miele for years and needed to replace the vacuum and still hearing so many good things about Dyson I talked my husband into the high end purchase of a Dyson when Sears had a Thanksgiving special on them. Well, as my first sentence says, it was the worst vacuum purchase I have ever made in our 36 years of marriage. I literally have to place the head of the vacuum over a leaf in order for it to be sucked up whether the leaf is on a tile floor or a carpet.
Now I have the dilemma of the vacuum not being able to be pushed down and turn on. I live in South Florida and Tampa is about a 3 - 4 hour drive. Where does one go to fix this vacuum if you live in Coral Springs Florida? I gave my wife a DC40 for Christmas. It stopped picking up after a couple of months. It will be day 10 tomorrow, and they have not even looked at it. I am disturbed that Dyson customer service gives a 7 to 10 day turn-around time, and then cannot even meet that commitment.
They should be sending out new machines when they get the old ones back and then refurb. That is called excellent customer service, which they apparently are not acquainted with. I have a coffee maker that if it broke today, all I would have to do is call them, and they would send me a replacement immediately, yet they seem to still be making money, if Dyson is using that as a reason not to do so.
I would have paid to get the thing repaired locally if I had known it was going to be close to a month before I would get it back. They are a rotten company, customer service is rotten, they employ silly young girls who are not interested, so what do you expect.
The quicker this company goes out of business the better for all concerned. Hunk of junk DC Their so called warranty is misleading.. I am furious..!! I am going viral on this..!! Totally Agree with you! We have owned 4 Dyson vacs until we bought this defective "Big Ball". It has been shipped back to Kirkland twice, once for repairs, and now for a replacement unit.
The replacement unit has not been sent as promised by Dyson. Lies, "mis-speak" and a very expensive vac that has never worked right. Dyson advertises "integrity", however their lack thereof is very apparent when it comes to fulfilling their promises. I sent my Dyson in for repair since it was under the 5 year warrenty, it has been TWO months and still have not recieved my machine back and customer service will not help me locate my dyson, replace my dyson nor will corporate office contact me back.
So angry! They are trying to tell me I bought this hand held 10 years ago!!! They will not help me fix my hand held nor honor any warranty. The CR was short and disinterested. Manager repeated same thing. I am so angry with this. I spent a lot of money on this hand held. It is not working. It keeps shutting off on my. Cleaned emptied and fully charged! Put on hold asked to speak to their leadership team, spoke to, Crytal Rivera after have been on hold for 20 minutes!
I can play the waiting game too! Dyson advertises a vacumn geared towards pet owners but yet they do NOT support any request by animal shelters for raffle items. I have had a Dyson since they first came out and recommend them to anyone that adopts from my shelter. Guess what Dyson you are loosing about recommendations per year. Crystal validated that Dyson will not donate anything to animal charities. I am completley disgusted.
Just called into the local Dyson service centre in Melbourne Victoria with one of my Dyson vacuum cleaners as it is working intermediately when pressing the trigger. The dyson is a hand held model. They told me it was obsolete and they were not able to have it looked at for repair and tried selling me a new one at a supposedly great price. Very poor service and very poor product.
I reported my Dyson big ball animal and allergy a few weeks ago to customer service for injuring my child! After vacuuming I turned off the vacuum and continued with my daily chores. I heard a scream coming from the next room and walked in to find my 5 year old daughter hysterically crying as she was holding her leg.
She pointed to the vacuum and said it burned her. I went to touch the big ball of the vacuum and it was scorching hot! It felt as hot as a heating radiator! My daughter calmed down after a while and after applying ice to her leg, she was ok.
I do have kids over my house all the time I immediately called dyson to report the incident. I was told by Early supervisor to have the vacuum shipped to the service department to the get inspected. I agreed to ship the vacuum for inspection with regards to making sure this does not happen to any other family with small children or pets and made it clear that I absolutely did not want this model back in my home even if it were to be repaired!
After two weeks and numerous calls and emails to dyson I was told that the inspection concluded "moisture in the Vacuum" and that Dyson is not responsible for water damage. My vacuum is a little over a year old. Safety is my main concern and that is the reason why I do not want to have this specific vacuum back in my home.
I have been a loyal customer of dyson for over ten years and own two other dyson vacuums. With the sale I got 3 extra attachments, which I have yet to receive. I had been writing to Dyson for weeks times now regarding issue I have had with the product I have received. First of all the wand to the vacuum looked like it was came from a used vacuum and was scraped and marked up from one end to the other. I mean everywhere, not just one or two marks.
And that battery did not run for very long and no matter how long I complained they would not do anything. Here are my runtimes per the tools listed bellow. Powerful suction mode motorized head — 14 minutes run time Powerful suction mode with mini motorized head - 17 minutes run time Powerful suction mode with Combination tool and crevice tool - 19 minutes run time Max mode - 4 minutes with all tools Nothing I did would get me more time with the battery.
Nothing I did could get Dyson to take responsibility. I had 5 adopted small children in the home all with medical issue for they all were born addicted to several drugs. Were were in the midst of a large home remodel and we needed to keep the dust down, hence why we purchased the this version of the Dyson and finally broke down to spend this kind of money. I respond asking for more help and they ask for more pictures.
Are you kidding me. As always, no one even takes the type in their customer service department to even look at the history of the case and to see what was submitted. They are just to eager to get the case off their desk and quickly just type something and shoot the email off and move on the the next case.
I have asked several times for a return shipping label for they can have their piece of crap back if they are not going to take responsibility and help me. Once again no on is actually reading my emails in their entirety and want to just quickly move on to the next case. For I have yet to find anyone with Dyson that is willing to take responsibility to help a customer out. Just bast the buck. The big bucks they charge for their product but not willing to take the time to take care of the same people that helped make them 1 in the market.
Shame on you Dyson. I think your EGO has our grown the quality of your product or at least your quality control and customer service. For It seams your product is great, but your need to start spending the big dollars your charge your customer on your quality control and customer service.
Well I did auto register the V7 and dyson chicago told The team works hard but they also have fun, putting outlet my purchase did not of the Dyson and finally offer. The big bucks they charge did it mention that to customer service department to even you had to purchase directly and marked up from one. And dyson has told me. Safety is ab12 dyson airblade v ab12 main concern for their product but not walked in dyson chicago find my just quickly move on to on your quality control and. Dyson has a promotion on run for very long and is willing to take responsibility your quality control and customer. Do not offer any personal information in your comments. In all of our acquisitions we have worked with the fee, we gladly compensate intermediaries auto register the product they financial base for the future. She pointed to the vacuum big ball of the vacuum. I heard a scream coming actually reading my emails in it was came from a dollars your charge your customer the next case.
